What is CalcDock?
CalcDock is an editorial reference site built around calculators and companion Guides. We publish 30+ tools across 8 categories so you can estimate outcomes, see the underlying assumptions, and understand what the output does not imply. Pages are written for clarity and honest limits — not keyword volume. Every calculator runs in your browser: no account is required, and inputs are not stored or transmitted to our servers.
Our Mission
We believe everyday quantitative questions deserve context: what was assumed, how to read the result, and when to verify with a professional. CalcDock pairs tools with explanations so the site reads as a reference publisher, not a bare widget directory.
Editorial responsibility and review
The core team authors and reviews calculator copy and Guides. Sensitive topics (finance, health, tax-like arithmetic) are checked against standard formulas and reputable primary references before publication. Each tool shows a last-updated date; we correct verifiable errors when readers report them with sources. Advertising does not determine formulas, tool order, or which guides we recommend.
What CalcDock does not provide
We do not provide legal, medical, tax filing, or personalized investment advice. Outputs are educational estimates; laws, lender terms, and health conditions vary. For decisions with significant consequences, confirm with a qualified professional and official rules in your jurisdiction.

How Our Calculators Work
All calculations are performed locally in your web browser using JavaScript. Your input values never leave your device. This means:
- No account or sign-up is needed
- Financial and personal data you enter is not collected or stored
- Results are generated instantly without a server round-trip
- The calculators work even in offline or cached mode once loaded
Accuracy and Limitations
Our calculators use standard mathematical formulas appropriate for each calculation type. For financial calculators (loans, mortgages, compound interest), we use industry-standard amortization and compound growth formulas. For health calculators (BMI), we use the WHO-published formulas.
However, all results should be treated as estimates for planning and reference purposes. Real-world outcomes depend on factors our calculators cannot model: lender-specific fees, variable interest rates, tax law changes, medical factors, and more. For major financial, health, or legal decisions, always verify with a qualified professional.
Advertising
CalcDock is free to use and supported by advertising. We may display ads served by Google AdSense or similar ad networks. Ads are displayed in designated spaces on our pages and do not affect the calculator logic or results. We do not allow ads to be inserted into the calculation flow or result display areas. See our Privacy Policy for information on how advertising cookies are handled.
Global Audience
CalcDock is designed for users worldwide, with particular attention to the needs of users in the United States, South Korea, Japan, and China. The site is available in English, Korean, Chinese, and Japanese. Where calculation conventions differ by region — such as VAT rates, age counting systems, or BMI reference ranges — we include region-specific notes directly on the relevant calculator pages.
