How we handle your message
Every submission goes to a single shared inbox monitored by the maintainer. There is no auto-responder, no ticketing escalation tree, and no outsourced support team. The reply you get is from the person who can actually change the calculator or the copy. This is deliberate — for a tools site at our scale, a human triage queue produces better outcomes than a routed support workflow.
Typical response windows
- Calculation bug with reproducible inputs — same-day acknowledgement, fix usually within 72 hours.
- New calculator suggestion — reviewed at the next quarterly cycle; you'll hear back either way.
- Privacy / data-rights request (GDPR, CCPA) — acknowledged within 5 business days; resolved within 30 days as required by law.
- Press, partnership, or business inquiries — replied to within one week, or politely declined if out of scope.
What we will not do over email
We won't calculate your specific loan, tax, or medical scenario for you and send back a number — the calculators are designed so you can do that yourself, and a one-off answer over email would carry an implicit endorsement we're not qualified to give. We also won't accept guest posts, paid backlinks, or sponsored calculator placements. If your inquiry falls into one of those buckets, save the round-trip and skip the form.
Your data, after you hit send
Form submissions are stored only as long as needed to resolve the conversation. Once a thread is closed, messages older than 12 months are deleted on a rolling basis. We do not add senders to a mailing list, share email addresses with third parties, or use submission content for advertising targeting. The full data-handling details are in our privacy policy.
